Check out another new video series from Duckpin, Kids of Branding. It focuses on brands that the Duckpin team admires, but aren’t quite a G.O.A.T.
Athleisure is a fashion movement and retail space that’s grown considerably in the past decade. According to a 2019 forecast, “The athleisure market size was valued at $155.2 billion in 2018 and is expected to reach $257.1 billion by 2026.”
How did this trend evolve? It can be attributed to a few things: changing social norms around what’s acceptable to wear; consumers seeking out clothes that are comfortable and flexible thanks to new fabrics; a growing focus on wellness and health generally. Brands across the clothing industry are responding to these changes by offering different takes on athleisure.
Keeping this in mind, we kick off the series with our Marketing Strategist, Andrew Clark, and Duckpin Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer, Cara Bonadio, discussing why she considers Athleta a Kid of Branding.
