The Frame
MK Consulting Engineers is a woman-owned firm that specializes in civil engineering, landscape architecture, and cost estimating. Additionally, they are certified by the Maryland Department of Transportation as a Minority Business Enterprise and a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise. Some of their clients include Baltimore City Public Schools, Baltimore City Recreation & Parks, Johns Hopkins Medicine, and the Gaithersburg Maryland Police Department. Desiring to broaden their reach, MK’s team reached out to Duckpin to help better communicate the impact of their services.
The Strike
Using existing branding, the Duckpin web design and development team updated MK’s website. Consistency in color use and a welcoming user experience were prioritized so that the firm’s services and accomplishments were more effectively highlighted. With that in mind, we used MK’s portfolio as the focal point in order to showcase their proficiency in civil engineering, cost estimating, and landscape architecture. Additionally, an interactive portfolio map on the site allows visitors to see the impact MK’s work has had in communities across Maryland.
