Duckpin is the team that will seamlessly capture your vision, and give it life. — Steven Brecher, Owner of The Bagelry Silver Spring
Duckpin Meet Our Team
Andrew began his career in print design, but quickly found his true passion in web design and development. An engineer by nature, Andrew’s ability to envision and build beautiful and structurally-sound web experiences for our clients makes him an indispensable component of the Duckpin Design team.
In his free time, Andrew can be found sailing with his family on his Pearson 26 sailboat named “Screw It Let’s Do It”, hiking trails throughout Baltimore County, or relaxing to some Marley with his wife, Christina, their sons Branson & Hendrix, and their furry children Mo and Grace.
Cara has spent 17 years honing her skills in many facets of the design business. A born planner, she is passionate about the process of design and is inspired by collaboration with a creative team to organize and craft effective design solutions. She brings a love for thoughtful, conceptual design and attention to detail to the Duckpin Design team.
On Saturdays, you can find Cara hitting the trails for a run, listening to the soulful sounds of Etta James, or getting lost in the aisles of Plaza Art.
Chad has been developing, managing and executing complex design solutions for 16 years. He especially enjoys the process of developing a brand from the ground up. Chad’s keen sense of style, and ability to understand and bring a client’s vision to life has made him an invaluable asset to Duckpin Design.
When not “fontscavating” for his collection, you might catch Chad exploring the backwoods of Baltimore County while on his bike or running a trail or two.
Director of Marketing & Strategy
Noah has a background in film studies and creative writing, but after working in the non-profit sector for several years, he began to pursue his interest in web design and digital marketing. Noah joined the Duckpin team in August of 2014 and is currently leading Duckpin’s efforts to expand their digital marketing client base.
Outside of the digital marketing world, Noah enjoys spending time with his wife, Morgan, and their twin girls, Corrina and Suzanna, playing guitar, and doing his best MJ impression on the basketball court.
Maryn has been meandering the world of design for the last 13 years. Inspired at a young age by the world of fashion magazines and Pop Art icons like Andy Warhol, she turned her influences into a career that has allowed her to run the design gamut. Her love of organization and color coding has been an asset to the fast paced environment of Duckpin.
In between collecting passport stamps, Maryn can be found hugging random dogs around Baltimore or channeling The Rock at the gym.
Ryan studied Graphic Design at York College of Pennsylvania. He has spent the past several years working as a developer. He moved to Baltimore in the winter of 2016 to live with his wife, Sarah, and joined the Duckpin crew at the beginning of 2017.
When he’s not reading through API documentation, Ryan enjoys hiking the Gunpowder Falls, playing guitar, and cooking delicious meals.
A passion for digital media led Zach to Ohio University where he earned a degree in Interactive Design from the School of Visual Communications.
Since his move to Baltimore in 2013, Zach has combined his appreciation for the fine arts, music, and travel, with a natural interest in how things work, to create digital media experiences for clients in a wide variety of industries. He’s passionate about user experience, responsive design and web standards and best practices.
Outside of the office, Zach enjoys visiting museums in Baltimore and Washington, DC. He is also active in the music and arts community in Baltimore and has toured the country extensively with his band Wildhoney.
Andrew is a bit of an outsider to the creative services industry, having initially planned on pursuing a legal career. His journey, however, would change upon packing up all of his belongings and moving half-way across the world to Doha, Qatar in 2014. While there, Andrew dove headfirst into digital marketing and strategy, setting up the country’s first audio podcast and eventually working for Ogilvy & Mather.
Now having been back in the US for a year and settled into Baltimore, he has joined Duckpin Design to help grow its digital marketing services, especially when it comes to social media and digital storytelling.
Outside of work Andrew is planning for his wedding, cycling around the city, and preparing for the next CrossFit workout.
Junior Graphic Designer
Originally from Princeton NJ, Emma received a BFA in graphic design from the Rochester Institute of Technology this past May. Having survived four long Rochester winters, she fled south in search of a warmer climate, ultimately landing in Baltimore and joining Duckpin as a Junior Graphic Designer.
A huge history buff, Emma sews historical costumes and volunteers at the Hampton National Historic Site on weekends. Emma is an oboe player and lover of all things pink, and has a twin sister and an adorable cockapoo named Bailey.

With a passion for logos and branding, Natalie has been navigating the design world for almost a decade. Born and raised in small town Kentucky, Natalie grew up with a sketchbook in front of her and moved to Baltimore in 2012 after honing her talents in fine arts. With a personable approach and creative background, Natalie joined the Duckpin team to continue creating stellar designs.
When she’s not at the office, you can find Natalie at a local craft fair selling hand-lettered artworks, getting lost in a movie marathon with her husband and rescue boxer, or trying a new recipe in the kitchen.
