Duckpin Meet Our Team
Co-Founder & CEO
Andrew began his career in print design but quickly found his true passion in web design and development. An engineer by nature, Andrew’s ability to envision and build beautiful and structurally-sound web experiences for our clients make him an indispensable component of the Duckpin team.
In his free time, Andrew can be found sailing with his family on his Pearson 26 sailboat named “Screw It Let’s Do It”, hiking trails throughout Baltimore County, or relaxing to some Marley with his wife, Christina, their sons Branson & Hendrix, and their furry children Mo and Grace.
Co-Founder & COO
Cara has spent 17 years honing her skills in many facets of the design business. A born planner, she is passionate about the process of design and is inspired by collaboration with a creative team to organize and craft effective design solutions. She brings a love for thoughtful, conceptual design and attention to detail to the Duckpin team.
On Saturdays, you can find Cara hitting the trails for a run, listening to the soulful sounds of Etta James, or getting lost in the aisles of Plaza Art.
Co-Founder & Creative Director
Chad has been developing, managing and executing complex design solutions for 16 years. He especially enjoys the process of developing a brand from the ground up. Chad’s keen sense of style and the ability to understand and bring a client’s vision to life has made him an invaluable asset to Duckpin.
When not “fontscavating” for his collection, you might catch Chad exploring the backwoods of Baltimore County while on his bike or running a trail or two.
Director of Operations
Maryn has been meandering the world of design for the last 13 years. Inspired at a young age by the world of fashion magazines and Pop Art icons like Andy Warhol, she turned her influences into a career that has allowed her to run the design gamut. Her love of organization and color coding has been an asset to the fast paced environment of Duckpin.
In between collecting passport stamps, Maryn can be found hugging random dogs around Baltimore or channeling The Rock at the gym.
Senior Web Developer
Ryan studied Graphic Design at York College of Pennsylvania. He has spent the past several years working as a developer. He moved to Baltimore in the winter of 2016 to live with his wife, Sarah, and joined the Duckpin crew at the beginning of 2017.
When he’s not reading through API documentation, Ryan enjoys hiking the Gunpowder Falls, playing guitar, and cooking delicious meals.
VP, Business Development
Sean was born and bred in Baltimore City. Sean went on to receive his undergraduate education from Washington College in Chestertown, MD. Upon graduating, he worked in the financial sector for nearly a decade, then ultimately found his way to the SaaS and digital agency world.
Sean has a passion for great creative and innovative digital strategies that truly affect our clients’ bottom line. It led him here to Duckpin, leading our Business Development efforts as Vice President.
When he is not at the office or with a client, Sean spends time with friends, family and his beautiful wife, Amber.
Han is a multidisciplinary designer and illustrator from Southern California. She moved to Baltimore at the start of 2013 to finish out her degree on scholarship at MICA where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Since graduating, she’s stuck around Baltimore and has been hard at work learning to build with code and sharpening her skills in branding, print and digital.
When she’s not working she stays busy reading Bon Appetít, powerlifting and cooking Ecuadorian family recipes.
Senior Web Developer
Zach developed an interest in digital media through the mentorship of his high school media arts teacher in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio. That led him to Ohio University where he earned a degree in Interactive Design. Since his move to Baltimore in 2013, Zach has combined his appreciation for the fine arts, music, and travel, with a natural interest in how things work, to create digital media experiences for clients in a wide variety of industries.
Outside of the office, Zach enjoys visiting museums in Baltimore and DC and is active in the music and arts community.
Client Care Manager
Dustin is a true “Marylander” with a background in staffing, recruiting and marketing. After working in the staffing industry for several years, and recruiting for big names in Maryland, Dustin decided to pursue his passion for all things digital and dive into the agency world.
Now you can find Dustin analyzing websites, architecting digital strategies and making sure Duckpin clients receive the best support and services in Maryland.
Outside of agency life, Dustin spends time with his wife, Jillian, and their two beautiful daughters, Aspen Adele and Palmer Kennedy. When he is not with his family, he will be hitting “butter cuts, flushers and stingers” at the nearest golf course or streaming Madden 21.
Senior Front-End Developer
Joe Sites is originally from Hershey, Pennsylvania. With a background in both web design and development, he brings the best of both worlds to his work, ensuring websites not only function well, but look good while doing it. A few years ago he developed a passion for web accessibility because everyone deserves to have the best online experience possible.
When not working on clients’ websites, he enjoys cooking, playing games (video and tabletop), and spending time with his wife, his cat, and his corgi. Good craft beer, scotch, and/or Indian food is the way to his heart.
Paid Media Manager
Kevin has been doing some version of marketing his entire adult life. Whether public relations, promotions, managing bands, fundraising, or digital marketing, he has always done something in the field. Kevin received his bachelor’s from York College of Pennsylvania and his master’s from John’s Hopkins University.
Offline time is spent with his infinitely tolerant wife and son. Whatever time is left late at night is spent playing music or tabletop games, random creative pursuits (building something, 3D printing, video/audio production, etc.) or watching an unnecessarily large amount of random YouTube videos.
Senior Graphic Designer
Joseph Tyburski is a designer who lives to shape the digital frontier—though his career began in print which he still loves to this day. With his passion for design and development, Joseph works with clients to create thoughtful experiences that propel their brand with personality and value.
When he’s not pushing pixels, Joseph can be found appeasing his enquiring mind on all aspects of design and web development, checking out the latest concerts in Baltimore, composing with his guitar, and playing video games.
