The Frame

GBMC Healthcare is a medical center that handles more than 23,000 admissions and over 52,000 emergency room visits annually. An acronym for Greater Baltimore Medical Center, GBMC was founded in 1965 with the mission to provide the best community and university-level medicine. To continue accomplishing this charge, they launched The Promise Project — GBMC’s campaign to raise funds for a $30 million expansion project. The remodel and expansion will include 60 new patient rooms, family lounges, quiet spaces, and a new entrance and reception area.

The Strike

To further their commitment to the community and high-quality patient care, GBMC launched The Promise Project to help fund the hospital’s planned expansion. We jumped on board to support this effort by creating a highlight video that visually illustrates the impact the expansion will have on local healthcare. Duckpin’s design team collaborated on a 3D rendering with animated floor plans, room designs, and the layout for the entrance. Through animation, we captured the transformation from its current design to the future layout in a moving timeline. Our contribution to The Promise Project allows donors to see what they’re putting their investment toward.
