Sixth Amendment Center (6AC) Rebrand + Website Strategy, Design & Development
Protecting the right to counsel for all.
Protecting the right to counsel for all.
The Sixth Amendment Center, or 6AC, is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to ensuring state policy protects indigent people's right to counsel. 6AC came to us with a solid reputation as an expert resource but an outdated identity and a website that was disorganized and overwhelming. They needed to modernize their identity and create a website to organize the wealth of expert content and data they provide.
6AC needed to modernize the brand’s visual identity without losing the brand equity they’ve built over the past 20 years. The current brand was inconsistent and disconnected, without the structure to support copious amounts of data. Duckpin revamped 6AC’s brand identity to lay the foundation for unified data visualization. This work included the creation of a timeless color palette and a selection of highly legible brand fonts with a broad family of weights to accommodate highly technical written content.
With the new brand in place, we dove into the UX Strategy for the website. We began with an audit of 6AC’s current site and content, and research into the wants and needs of their user base. Then, we worked with the 6AC team to organize and structure the information based on the needs of their audience. We rolled it out to a sleek, highly interactive web experience that presents in-depth data, comprehensive research, and timely subject matter expertise in an engaging, intuitive user experience.
